Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday at 6:30pm. Activities vary but may include lectures, workshops, open sew and outreach projects.
Sit-n-Sew Saturday is held every Saturday at 10:30am – 3:00pm (unless a workshop is scheduled). Hosted by Peggy or Janice. Join in to work on your own projects, see what others are making and visit as if you were at a retreat! Come when you can, stay for as long as you like, wear what you want, and take a break whenever you need one. Relaxing and fun!
PRESIDENT’S CHALLENGE Due Feb. 1, 2022
My President’s Challenge to you is to make something old into something new. In the past, we called the process recycling. Now we have a new term, upcycling. Take a look on Pinterest to see the many ways people are upcycling antique linens, used clothes, old furs and old quilts into something new. Your project can be a quilt, wall hanging, wearable, stuffed toy, or something else that your creative mind and hands make! Look around the house and dig out something you aren’t using in its present form and see what you can turn it into. Have fun! -Mary Jo S.
