CSS is a non-profit guild of quilters dedicated to perpetuating the art of quilting.
Our purposes are:
* To encourage members to share skills within the group
* To provide educational workshops
* To enjoy fellowship with other quilters, and
* To share our knowledge with the local community

Our Business Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7pm at the
Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1400 East Second Street, Benicia, CA
Please join us for Social/Visiting/Demos from 6:00pm – 7:00pm prior to the business meeting.

Guild Business: Board and Committee Reports (Program, Outreach, Membership, Treasurer)
Show-n-Tell: Guild members are encouraged to share the projects they’ve made in the second half of the meeting – quilts, wearables, totes, bags, etc. Photos will be taken of the piece and published in the Gallery section of the website (faces and surnames are excluded for privacy).
Door Prizes: All members and visitors are eligible to win a prize at each meeting!

CSS held its first official meeting in January 1984 with 13 attendees. Today, we have close to 80 members, about half of whom live in Benicia and others that live in outlying communities.
